2019 OpenWings REU Interns

This year, we’ve had the pleasure of having Elisa Yang (UC Berkeley) and Meridith Cooper (University of Texas) working with us as part of OpenWings. Elisa and Meridith are participating in the National Science Foundation REU Program, and they are working in the laboratory at LSU to determine the most efficient ways to prepare and enrich thousands of genomic libraries for the UCE loci that we will be using to generate a phylogeny of all bird species.
